ABOUT
HUSH EDGAR was born in a Beat Shed on the edge of the Cotswolds constellation. The founding trio of Merlin Matthews (drums, percussion, live loops and anything with a plug on it), Ryan Quarterman (double bass), and Stuart Miller (saxophone) capitulated instantly to the gravitational pull of the jazz black hole. With the addition of guitarist Dave Noble dragging Hush Edgar through an interstellar wormhole to form a quartet, the group was propelled even further into the cosmic depths of their sonic explorations.
Guest bedrooms were soon discovered on HUSH EDGAR’s sonic spaceship, allowing for additional co-pilots to join the crew for specific voyages.
HUSH EDGAR firmly believes in the principle of musical democracy. Sonic space travel is adorned with stars – but there is never a place for a megastar.
